The sign that greeted our arrival at the entrance to Antelope Island State Park near Layton, Utah was "the biting gnats are bad". Although I'd been to the Methow Valley many times before, we were first introduced to Pearrygin Lake State Park last September by our friends, Pam and David, when we camped there for 2 nights.
