In an earlier post about article writing, at the end I wrote:
“The Finer Points – Grammar and spelling do count. Mispelled words and terrible grammar make readers pause and question an author’s credibility. When in doubt, use a spellchecker.”
Well, apparently, that is not the case.
Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by itslef but the wrod as a wlohe.
Hmm… looks like there's hope for us yet! 🙂

Hello Chris,
To answer your first question… yes.
In answer to your second question – yes, I’d believe. And sorry to dash whatever illusions some may have, but for all the talk, it’s hard to get drunk on just one. 🙂
Cheers,
Ros
