This new Aweber feature is very cool. It addresses the current lack of RSS awareness by your typical Internet user/site visitor.
Suppose you've given up sending a regular newsletter and have become a bloggin' fool – trusting your visitors to plug your feed into their reader and download your updates.
Chances are you're missing out big time.
According to a Yahoo! White Paper published last October, “Awareness of RSS is quite low among Internet users. 12% of users are aware of RSS, and 4% have knowingly used RSS.”
So how do you make sure your visitors receive your blog updates?
Use Aweber's newly integrate RSS to Email Feed Broadcaster. It lets your visitors sign up for a traditional newsletter, then takes your published blog content and converts it to an email that is sent to your subscribers.
Just when I was thinking of going Blog-only, and was worrying about the implications, Aweber sent the answer.
