{"id":878,"date":"2008-04-01T07:34:57","date_gmt":"2008-04-01T16:34:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/bogus-agents-wp25-simple-upgrades-and-more\/"},"modified":"2019-03-10T14:35:15","modified_gmt":"2019-03-10T21:35:15","slug":"bogus-agents-wp25-simple-upgrades-and-more","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/bogus-agents-wp25-simple-upgrades-and-more\/","title":{"rendered":"Bogus agents, WP2.5, simple upgrades and more&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The latest newsletter has just been sent&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Happy April Fool's&#8230; and nope, no pranks this year, although I see that there were a few &#8216;take-offs' around the blogosphere from <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/cancellation-notice-stuns-affiliates\/\">the one I did in 2006<\/a>. \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<p>The big news for affiliate bloggers this week was the release of WordPress 2.5, which I talked about in <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/chomping-at-the-bit-for-wordpress-25\/\">Chomping at the Bit for WordPress 2.5<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/wordpress-25-officially-released\/\">WordPress 2.5 Officially Released<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I also posted a short piece this morning about <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/upgrading-wordpress-with-fantastico\/\">Upgrading WordPress with Fantastico<\/a> in response to a comment from Evelyn who ended up with &#8216;weird characters' on her blog after one such attempt. (Evelyn, it's not nice to talk about your visitors that way!) \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>There is also some blog design instruction at <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/how-to-correct-bulleted-list-error-with-css\/\">How to Correct Bulleted List Errors with CSS<\/a> and<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/have-you-updated-your-sharethis-plugin\/\">Have You Updated Your ShareThis Plugin?<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I took issue with something I've seen too much of late and posted <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/agent-is-typing-my-eye\/\">Agent is Typing&#8230; My Eye<\/a> along with suggestions for a better way of doing business.<\/p>\n<p>Yanik was broadcasting <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/live-feeds-from-the-underground%c2%ae\/\">Live Feeds from the Underground\u00c2\u00ae<\/a> where you can see Marlon Sanders and a whole raft of attendees who attended the seminar. (LUCKY them.. I'm still choked that I had to miss it!) If you missed it too, oyou can pre-order a set of the Underground\u00c2\u00ae 4 recordings (DVD & Audio and workbook) before it goes on sale to the general public &#8212; or until 11:59 PM on Friday April 4!<\/p>\n<p>In affiliate program news I posted <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/chitika-announces-a-new-way-to-monetize-parked-domains\/\">Chitika Announces a New Way to Monetize Parked Domains<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/rosalindgardner.com\/blog\/sell-products-to-spanish-markets-through-clickbank\/\">Sell Products to Spanish Markets through Clickbank<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Because I'll still be pretty much housebound for a while, I've reduced my consulting fees until May 1st.
