I made this little video for the Super Affiliate Handbook homepage but thought I should share it with you as well. It gives you a peek inside 9 of my affiliate accounts in real-time. Who says you can't make money as an affiliate marketer? π
Hi Rosalind;
I read the first edition of the SAH in about 2 days, which prompted me to purchase the newer edition recently on your website; I am approximately a third of the way through the book presently. I have been looking at other ways to bring in income at present and this method has me intrigued to say the least. I am a senior professional (manager) in my chosen line of work ( I have been doing “what I do” for going on 33 years now) but have realized recently that it is not what I want to do for the rest of my working career, of which I have another 10 years before retirement in my present job. I can strongly identify with the circumstances which led you to get into the affiliate marketing world. Also, being Canadian myself, and having done some research on those other websites that promise to pay big bucks fast, I believe that you are the real deal and have a “no BS” approach. I am still a little skeptical, however, and want to look before I leap into this as a means of income (and hopefully retire a little earlier, if you catch my drift). My only questions concerning this are as follows;
1. Is it too late to get into Affiliate Marketing? (considering I am on the cusp of 55 years young).
2. Aren’t all the well-paying “niche” markets already flooded with affiliates?
3. For the person who has no technical skills in website design, or any marketing skills for that matter, is there a program or other system that they can sign up for or subscribe to that you would recommend?
I have seen that you have previously endorsed SBI! in your books as well as on your website for those of us who are considered new to this industry. Is this still a wise investment in your opinion?
I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Jack Wysman

WOW, that’s seriously amazing. Congrats on a job well done. Nice blog too. I will read everything on your blog π
Hi Ros,
That’s very encouraging to see how well you are doing and what the potential is. This will definitely keep me motivated. I purchased your Super Affiliate Handbook a few months ago and have gotten my first site up. I will go back through your book again and again, as I am not at this point converting any customers into buyers.
Your book as great, motivating information I could use more guidelines as it has a lot of great ideas, but it does not tell you how to do them for instance “PPC”, so there is still a huge learning curve, but it is a great book in showing a person the “possibilities and providing ideas of what to do.” Do you offer any coaching service?
Hi Karen,
Your site looks great. Gotta love those Revolution themes. My first recommendation to you is to move your email form to the top of the sidebar and don’t require both first and last name… just ‘name’ or just ‘first name’. Too, change the Google Adsense to match your theme. Right now it’s way too enticing and encourages clicks out before folks have a chance to sign up for your newsletter.
The SAH doesn’t have a step-by-step guide to ppc campaign building because Google Adwords and the other PPC engines provide extensive support and tutorials.
For Google’s, visit https://adwords.google.com/support/
What is covered in detail is how to determine whether or not your campaign will have profit potential.
I’m currently working to put together a multi-media training program for affiliate marketers which will definitely include ppc training. My personal consultation service is always available at https://rosalindgardner.com/?p=43
I hope that helps.

Ros
Get video Rosalind, I think it is important that people just starting out in this business, and that is any online business realize just what is possible, of course, they also need to realize that you have 3 niche markets and hundreds of merchants that you promote products for, as well you puplish this great, super info newsletter and tell it like it is.
Newbies need to realize that in order to earn these amounts of income, they also need to put out some effort and that it will become easier as they go along, but if one is earning minimum wages or above that slightly, they will be earning enough to live a much more comfortable life if they are even earning $2000.00 to $4000.00 per month online until they learn how to earn more and get more merchants to promote or more products of their own to sell or get others to promote.
In this day and age, it is very important that people see proof that they can earn big by spending nominal amounts of money to get started on their own business, but they also need to understand that this is a business and like any business, one needs to do a little work. So Rosalind, how many hours do you spend on a new promotion from getting the idea to writing the blogs and articles to promote the product on average? It would probably help too if you told people if you hire people to write sales copy at this point or if you do it all yourself. We can tell when we order some info products that the developer doesn’t do their own work but pay someone else to do it all for them, and we are told that some gurus have teams of staff that do the work. So just to put things into prospective, how much work to you put into a new promotion?
Thanks Rosalind, this a a super video and one that all newbies need to watch.
Hi Mary,
Good points all and sorry that I didn’t address them sooner.
I’m very hands on in my own affiliate business. If I wasn’t, I wouldn’t be able to write this blog or maintain the Super Affiliate Handbook.
I do 99% of my design and software tweaks and I write 100% of the content for my sites. I do have guest bloggers post from time to time but they are always credited with their own work. My ‘team’ consists of me and Joel, my virtual assistant who handles customer service for the Super Affiliate Handbook, my dropshipping site, http://windingway.com and does some technical work on the site, such as the new forum upgrade to Version 3. From time to time, I hire a programmer to install some software when it takes me too long to figure it out.
And yes, it takes time and effort. More for a newbie just starting out that it does for me at this point, of course. But as I always say… it’s not rocket science. Anyone with a willingness to work and a strong desire to succeed, can and should succeed.
As to the time I spend now… I sometimes work for 8 hours in a day and sometimes I’ll take 2 or more whole weeks off, doing nothing but responding to a few emails.
Hope that lays it out a little better. π
Cheers,
Ros
This is the kind of inspiration that people need in order to believe that it is possible. Your conversion rates are AMAZING. Thanks for letting us have a peep behind the scenes!
WOW awesome video, just to prove to everyone out there that it can be done. Also to tell people that there is money to be made even in these “difficult times” Because you know what money can never run out. Just think about it, it is like saying there is only $20 million dollars available to make online and fifty people are sharing that pot. That is absolute nonsense, it depends on how bad you want it!!!!!!!
Keep the good work up Ros!
What impressive statistics. I have purchased the ” Super Affiliate Handbook”
and I’m going to read and study it , from cover to cover. I would be estatic with just a portion of those results. Thanks alot for sharing the details!!
Hi Rosalind – That was awesome – especially your conversion rates. And it was a great idea to show it on video. As you say there’s guys out there who do photoshop their earnings and unlike you – they won’t be able to prove they are the real deal, by doing what you’ve just done.
Ok, I’ll try this again. I wrote out a long message, hit submit and somehow got deleted… I think the reCAPTCHA thing got me..
In short, I am wondering if the SAF is more suitable for the newbie than the other book you wrote “Making a Fortune Promoting Other Peoples Stuff Online”.
When I was first introduced to AM – the latter was the book I picked because it seemed to be the latest book written by you but since I’ve been a member of your newsletter – I’ve only seen you promote the SAF so I’m guessing there must be a reason you like SAF better.
I read your book (Making A Fortune..) 3 times because it was my first exposure to AM and I was quite overwhelmed. But now I understand terms and have read a lot of different material and follow your articles etc.. I’m wonder if you believe SAF would still benefit me at this point. I’m thinking I need to just get over the fear and take action now.
Thanks Ros… this is exactly the type of information we need to keep us motivated.
Wow 31% conversion that’s huge… who better to teach us than Ros.
Wow Ros! Very impressive! Congrats on all your successes! I have owned the SAH for many years, and it helped me a lot along the way! I sure don’t have anywhere near the numbers you have, but keep working at it. The biggest thing I’ve been afraid of and haven’t dived into though, is adwords. When I first started out, I understood how they estimate your costs much better than now. Now that its changed, its a bit daunting to me to try it since I tweak and improve my adsense each month, and do pretty well with that. It seems risky to lose part of that money to adwords. Any advice?
