The big news from France this week is that as of February 1st, smoking will be banned in French schools, hospitals and youth centres. Macau recently overtook Las Vegas as the gambling leader. The tiny former Portuguese colony is located 35 miles from Hong Kong. In the past U.S. citizens could travel to Canada, Mexico and several Caribbean islands with only a drivers license. With the new regulations that have taken affect with regard to air travel, they now need a passport to re-enter the USA. Only 27 percent of U.S. citizens hold passports.
