Air Museum – Nanton Lancaster Society

We were on Highway 2 south of Calgary and passing through the town of Nanton when we spotted a sigh for the The Nanton Lancaster Society Air Museum. Being aviation buffs a visit was required. The Museum is dedicated to Bomber Command during World War II and there is a memorial outside that lists the names of the 10,000 Canadians who died while serving. Oklahoma in Alberta

Our plan was to drive from Edmonton to near the entrance to Glacier National Park in Montana. The closest place that accommodations could be found was the town of Cardston, Alberta.
