Last Friday, I asked Ed to let you all know that my surgery went well and that I was on the mend and well, I had to chuckle when I saw his, “Surgery Update” post yesterday, because that’s exactly what he said. (He’s unlikely to become a hardcore blogger anytime soon.) :-)

Anyway, after a successful surgery, a prolonged stay in recovery, a forced rise in blood pressure, a threatened blood transfusion, zero sleep and contracting a cold; I was finally released from the hospital yesterday. Even better news, it turns out that the mass was benign.

Yeah!

To ensure a full recovery, I will be spending the next week relaxing, recuperating and getting some much-needed shut eye. As I am able, I’ll check for blog comments and post more here and at NPT.

Thanks again for all your good wishes and prayers — I’m certain that played a huge role in getting me sprung so quickly.

    That’s great news Rosalind!
    Really glad to hear it.

You ONLY got 500 emails to go through?
heck, you could have taken a spa retreat too!
    LOL!

So, did you get any hospital pics?
(Maybe scary food or cute nurses?)

    Welcome Home!
    Brad.

    Rosalind,
Best wishes for a speedy return to full speed. How about a month at a Healthy Spa to help you recover..couldn’t hurt. Then report it on your Travel Blog!
    Regards,

So glad everything turned okay for you. I had the same experience a few years ago… and it’s so stressful until they finally reveal the results… Benign!

    Hi Ros:

Glad to learn everything went well and you’re getting back to normal. I went through the same a few months ago, only it was on my forehead … talk about a headache!

I wish I had an Ed here, as tabs keep getting bumped off the bottom of my screen, including MY CONNECTION!!! The worst part is, I’m no techie by any stretch of the imagination, and we only have access to dial up in my neck of the woods - so now what?

So don’t hold it against Ed, or I might just suggest he move down here; I’m sure all that snow we keep getting will be appealing …

Great to hear you are on the mend! But take it easy and get fully well. An excuse for a luxuriously restful holiday in some stunning location perhaps! Catriona

    Hi Rosalind,
I’m so glad to hear it was benign. Make sure you pamper yourself and get fully recovered before getting back into your hectic schedule. I imagine it is a beautiful time of year in the Okanagan valley.

    All the best,
