Politicians of all stripes have been asked what they are doing with the extra tax we have to pay....to date....no firm answer, just a lot of double talk, which they do a lot of. And why shoud we be paying a carbon tax at all? The auto industry and the public transportation industry (which includes airllines) have been warned for over 40 years that we were facing problems with putting all this co2 back into the air. Think about it.....what have they done? Vertually nothing....what kind of vehicles have you seen on car ads? Ones that go very fast (thus burning more fuel...putting more carbon into the air) and large more powerful engines and large SUV's. Sounds like they should be the ones to be penalized! Instead they get all the credits in tax breaks while we pay for the mistakes they have made....what a wonderful world we live in! My suggestions is this - get rid of the politicians, beaurocrats, and lawyers and we would be better off. Put working stiffs and mothers in charge and I think the mess would soon be cleared up.
