WordPress plugins enhance the capabilities of your WordPress blog. There are literally tens of thousands of WordPress plugins from which to choose, but I'll make this easy on you.
Below is a list of my most frequently used WordPress plugins, along with descriptions of how I use them. Each of these plugins can be accessed through your WordPress Administration Panel by clicking Plugins > Add New and then entering its name in the resulting search bar at the top right-hand corner of the page.
GDPR, which stands for General Data Protection Regulation, is a law covering data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) and also the export of personal data outside the EU and EEA areas.
Although the GDPR regulation was implemented on May 25th, 2018, I’ve seen many blogs that are NOT GDPR compliant.
My guess is that bloggers outside the EU simply assume that they don’t need to be GDPR compliant.
Those bloggers would be wrong.
I was more than tired of seeing the ‘configuration errors detected' on my Contact 7 contact form.
It didn't matter what I did to try and fix the errors, I still got the notification.
Granted, the form actually worked, but the error notice bugged me.
So, I decided to find a new plugin and the WPForms Contact Form came up second in the search results.

I wouldn't have known that there were broken scroll links on my Affiliate Blogger PRO site, if not for an email with the subject line “I KEEP PRESSING THE SIGN-UP BUTTON! ARE others having this problem?!”.
Sure enough, when I tested the scroll links on the homepage, none of them were working – which doesn't bode well, especially folks can't get to your purchase links fast enough. 🙂
Scroll links, or in-page anchor links, are those links that take you elsewhere on the page you're on, and the homepage on that site is rife with them, as I'm using the Altitude Pro Theme by StudioPress.
Anyway, it took me the better part of the evening to fix the broken scroll links. First I hard-coded some new links with HTML and that didn't work. Then I replaced the menu links to the Front Page sections with custom links and that didn't work either.
Blogging equipment needs to be kept to a minimum if you're an RV lifestyle or travel blogger, or someone who works in a VERY small office. 🙂

In the beginning, blogging was nothing more than a fun activity for those who loved to write and a way of getting in touch with like-minded people for the purpose of exchanging ideas, or simply, socializing.
However, over the years, and thanks in part to social networks, it has become one of the most effective ways to spread word about your business, service, or a product you manufacture, or to establish yourself as an expert and thought leader within a particular niche. It can still be fun, but more often than not, it is looked upon as a means of generating traffic, and hopefully, income, whether it’s through sales or ads.
Since there is no magic formula or a step-by-step instruction you can follow to become a rockstar blogger, the solution would be to shift our focus on doing the opposite, and avoid some of the most common mistakes made by our predecessors. Fortunately, things are a lot less vague in that department, which is why we have composed a list of 7 blogging mistakes every aspiring blogger should avoid on their road to success.
