Now that the BubblePly service is no longer available, I had to find a new way to embed affiliate links in YouTube videos.
The following video shows you how to generate commissions by adding affiliate links to videos that are embedded on your blog using the LinkedTube service.
Do you know of other ways to do this? Please go ahead and share in the comments section below.
Cheers,
Thanks for sharing value contant ROS!
Great post.Thanks for sharing this.
Great learning from you Ros! This will help me a lot in the near future!
Cheers!
I’ve never opened the account youtube
I also never make a video because I do not have a camera to make it
Great post Ros! It is really useful… I would really be using this next time i’ll be posting something in You Tube…. Thanks for sharing your thoughts…
But sometimes our affiliate link was hacked by somebody. That is they purchased without our affiliate link. How can we rectify this..
Hi, I’ve already asked this but have had no answwer. Does the video have to be one you have created yourself or can it be any video?
Thanks
Wendy
Neat little tip Ros, but I don’t see the excitement.
I can see the significance if it was ON YouTube, but on your own blog you can put the affiliate link anywhere in the post…what am I missing?
Hi Dennis,
I guess the upside is that instead of clicking the vid and ending up on Youtube… they’ll end up at the merchant site. Too, it might be more obvious than a text link considering the person is looking directly at the video??
Cheers,
Ros
I can see that. I wonder what it would take for them to allow it ON YouTube.
Anyone know a way to get this to work with a video in a Squidoo lens?
I can get a live link to the video on LinkTube (with all their ads) by embedding the code in a text mod.
In the video mod, when I replace the YouTube URL with the LinkTube URL it just reverts to the original YouTube video – no aff link!
Great tip Rosalind. However, when I did this when I came back to my website, the embedded code, my affiliate link and everything else “hidden” now shows up. Any idea what I did wrong. I followed your video, I thought..
Excellent share, Rosalind! It’s amazing to discover the tools that I had no idea even existed. Thank you for making the rest of us aware of this very cool tool. Craig
Hi Rosalind,
Thanks for the good tip!
Jestine
try http://www.viewbix.com as easy to use but with more functionality and ability to share on facebook, twitter, etc.
Hey Jon,
Thanks kindly for the Viewbix tip. I’ll do an update video. 🙂
Cheers,
Ros
Does this only work for your own videos or can you place a button over other youtube videos you embed on your website?
Hi Tony,
Thanks for your question. I think one of the best uses for this service is by merchants who make videos for their affiliates to use. 🙂
Cheers,
Ros
As per putting your affiliate link in a You tube video would this be permissible as to the Youtube policies?.

This is a great piece of information. I have been working with a plugin that was supposed to provide similar capabilities, but it “misfires” at several levels. This is a great solution for using YouTube videos embedded into my sites. I will be watching the metrics to see the difference being able to link will make.
Thanks for another super post. You are always able to sniff out the cutting-edge stuff that will help have better results.
That’s great Ros! Does it have to be a video you have created yourself?
Thanks
Wendy
Hi Rosalind,
thanks for this useful info about LinkedTube – looks very useful as I didn’t know about this cool thing.
All the best
Great tip Ros. I just tried it out and it worked perfect.
Thank You
Nice tip Ros – Thanks. Too bad you can’t do that on the Youtube site itself.
Of course big G would never allow that unless they were getting a piece
of the action.
Hi Ros, Great info as always. I was wondering, though, you said it was not for embedding in video ON YouTube, only for a YouTube video on your website. How do you embed your site info on the video ON YouTube?
Thanks, Ros. That’s just what I needed!!
This is the one I use, too – very simple and easy to implement.
